The shirt that started our partnership is now available on its own. Screen printed in-house by the Decolonial Clothing team, it proudly features their eagle on the back, because this collaboration was never just about Rabbit Hole. It was important to us that the people and message behind it remained front and centre.

This shirt is where it all began. David had been following and supporting Decolonial Clothing for quite some time. Their work, message & conversations they create had long resonated with what Rabbit Hole stands for.
When we started talking about creating merch, we knew it couldn't be another coffee t-shirt. It had to carry a message.
We reached out to the Decolonial Clothing team, and together we started shaping what this collaboration could become. Rather than recreating Decolonial Clothing's visual style, the goal was to build something that reflected both worlds. David brought the vision and message. Veronica translated that into a design that could meet Decolonial's work with respect while still feeling unmistakably Rabbit Hole.
Founded by Dakota Bearand Casey Desjarlais, Decolonial Clothing is a 100% Indigenous-ownedand operated brand, led by the Nehiyaw-Anishinaabe couple from Treaty 6 and Treaty 4 Territories, now based on the territories of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō, Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam). Their work goes far beyond apparel. It's rooted in culture, community, truth-telling & Indigenous sovereignty.
On our end, coffee has always been political: who gets paid, who gets seen, who gets erased. Different industry. Same conversation.
Every garment is screen printed in-house, customized with their "Support Indigenous Business" tag, and made with the care and intention they've become known for.
This wasn't about putting one brand on another's shirt. It was about creating something together, where every conversation, sketch, revision, and screen print helped shape what you see today. What started with this limited collaboration has grown into an ongoing partnership, and we're proud to keep building it together. ✊🏽🪶☕
